Lots of scientific projects happening on board.
There is a Christmas decoration contest where the various departments on the ship compete for the best decoration. Only recycled materials are allowed. Passengers vote for their favorite.
We received lots of information about the upcoming activities on South Georgia and Antarctica. A wide range are offered which will surely provide something for everyone. These include an extremely strenuous 4 hour hike, a less strenuous hike, snow shoeing, camping, kayaking, zodiac tours, photo adventure and leisurely walks.
