Started the day off visiting A76A, the world’s largest iceberg. It is around 84 miles (135 kilometers) long and 16 miles (26 km) wide.

A76A is the long flat iceberg running from the left side of the picture behind the smaller iceberg

Even with an extreme wide angle lens it was not possible to fit all of the large iceberg into the picture.

The swells were so big that the ship was rolling two meters (6-1/2 feet) at the tender platform. It was considered too dangerous to load and unload passengers into the zodiacs so the planned cruise was canceled. But the captain parked the ship as close as possible to the iceberg for about an hour so we could at least take loads photos.

Iceberg ahead!

Lots of lectures in between the 3 daily meals. I joined the “Why (K)not?“ activity where we learned how to tie some basic knots. I did OK with the 8 knot and square knot but took awhile with the bowline knot. Luckily I‘m a master at tying my shoes. 🤣

This also applies to Christmas lights
