Wild Point – Site of Sir Ernest Shackleton’s shipwrecked Endurance expedition thar camped on the point for four months until rescued in August 1916 by the Chilean Navel vessel Yelcho.
No landing due to high wind and swells but lots of opportunities to take pics of the Gentoo penguin colonies.
A nice New Years Eve celebration with the crew providing the entertainment. Lots of fun for all except Klaus who lay sick in bed with a cold and was asleep at 9:30 PM.
